How to Add a Webpage to the Compatibility View List
When you launch Internet Explorer, you may receive a message saying Internet Explorer is being run in Compatibility Mode and not all features are enabled
1. Manual Method
- To Turn On Compatibily View for the Webpage : Click on the unhighlighted Compatibility View icon button.
Note: The webpage will now reload with Compatibility View turned on for it.
- To Turn Off Compatibily View for the Webpage : Click on the highlighted (blue) Compatibility View icon button.
Note: The webpage will now reload with Compatibility View turned off for it
2. Add a Webpage to the Compatibility View List Permanently
- Go to tools
- Select Compatibly View Settings
- To add a webpage address ,type in the webpage address that you want to turn on Compatibility View for, and click on the Add button
Note: The current webpage address will automatically be filled in for you. Just clear it if you want to add a different web address.
- To remove a webpage address ,Select the webpage address that you want to turn off Compatibility View for, and click on the Remove button
- Click on the Close button.
